Rachelle Moore became certified in permanent cosmetics at New Images in 2000, since then Moore has practiced in the western United States with thousands of returning clients. She began teaching permanent cosmetics in 2006 and holds a class once per month. Rachelle has taught at College of Western Idaho, Velvet Touch Academy, and Visual Effects Salon and Spa. She received her Advanced Medical and Corrective Certificate in 2008 from Chrysalis Clinic for Permanent Cosmetics in Seattle.

Rachelle’s extensive expertise in permanent make-up in Boise includes brows, eyeliner, lips, areolas, scar camouflaging, micro-needling color correction and removal. Other certifications include: Licensed Cosmetologist, Blood Borne Pathogen Certificate, and National Certification of Lasers.

Since 1997, Rachelle has owned and operated Visual Effects Salon and Spa. The 6,000 square foot salon and medi-spa houses 40+ professionals varying from hair stylists and nail techs, to aestheticians with certifications in lasers, micro-needling and permanent cosmetics.

Helping Women Post Cancer Treatment 
  • Working at St. Alphonsus Womens Specialty Clinic

Rachelle works with two reconstructive surgery specialists, Elizabeth M. Prier, M.D. and Linsey Etherington, M.D., at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center’s Breast Care Center. She performs micro-pigmentation on areolas and nipples after breast reconstruction from breast cancer surgery.

Rachelle has helped many women get back to feeling beautiful by returning a natural looking areola pigmentation to their breasts. Helping women with their confidence post cancer treatment is very rewarding to Rachelle.
