Moore, Visual Effects Celebrate Quinceanera Style
A Quinceanera is not the typical celebration for a business turning 15 years old, but Visual Effects Salon and Spa is not a typical business. Rachelle Moore, owner of the salon and spa, opened the doors at 4485 N. Dresden Place in Boise in 2001. This location has become home to stylists, nail techs, estheticians, and massage therapists - some whom have been with her from the very beginning. She even had to expand into the next building to house all of her salon and spa family and services options, currently 227.
On September 30th Moore is hosting her annual Customer Appreciation Party Quinceanera style with a few traditional events: her loyal clientele and beauty professionals acting as the Court of Honor, the business itself will be the presented “Quincenera” and a block style party with DJ, food truck and drinks. There will be a toast by the master of ceremony and this is sure to be followed by a heartfelt Thank-You from Moore herself to all her salon and spa family.
“The 40 plus professionals I get to work with every day are truly committed to their beauty expertise and love what they do. It is all about the clients at this salon and spa,” Moore said. “Everyone really cares about strengthening their talents and the latest and greatest services they can offer to their dedicated clientele.”
Moore offers more than just hair, nails, and massage at Visual Effects, she has been certified in permanent cosmetics since 2000 and offers microneedling treatments, a collagen induction therapy, proven to smooth wrinkles and reduce acne scars and stretch marks. She is an advocate for others wanting to start their own cosmetics business by being an educator and providing permanent cosmetic training and certification courses.
“For me, it is more than just a business, it’s personal,” Moore explained. “I had terrible acne scars from adolescence and I found microneedling was the real deal. It really helped my smooth my acne scars and improve my skin. I knew it would be a great service to help others feel better about themselves too.”
Moore did not stop there. She is also helping those affected by breast cancer working with two reconstructive surgery specialists at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center’s Breast Care Center. Moore performs micro-pigmentation on areolas and nipples after breast reconstruction from breast cancer surgery. She has helped many women get back to feeling beautiful by returning a natural looking areola pigmentation to their breasts post cancer treatment. For breast areola color correction please call the Women’s Specialty Clinic at Saint Alphosus Regional Medical Center at (208) 367-5050.
